# Shuffle > Shuffle is the AI you open for fun. Text it in iMessage or on the web - make pictures, videos, and games about your friends, or just talk. No separate Shuffle install is required for web or iMessage use. iMessage uses Apple’s Messages app. Game links open in a browser and require JavaScript. Public and unlisted games can be opened by link, subject to content restrictions. Unlisted games are excluded from discovery. Private games require their owner or collaborators to sign in. Agents can build games and 3D-printable tools using the REST API and MCP after the person approves access. Read /agents (or /agents.md) for connection instructions; /api/v1/openapi describes the REST API and /api/v1/mcp serves MCP. ## Product and policies - [Shuffle home](https://www.addshuffle.com/): Start a conversation. - [How Shuffle works](https://www.addshuffle.com/how-it-works): Start, describe an idea, and open a creation. - [Frequently asked questions](https://www.addshuffle.com/faq): Messages, games, visibility, and privacy. - [Privacy Policy](https://www.addshuffle.com/privacy-policy): How information is handled. - [Terms](https://www.addshuffle.com/terms): Terms for using Shuffle. Start with a message Open Shuffle home and choose the Messages entry point when available, or sign in to use chat on the web. The Messages link selects the current Shuffle number; use that link rather than an old saved number. ### 2. Describe your idea Tell Shuffle what you want to make. For a game, describe how it should play. You can also use Quick Create on the web. ### 3. Open your creation When a game finishes, open its Shuffle link in a browser. The game runs on its own player page. Available editing and sharing controls appear in the game options menu. ## FAQ Source: https://www.addshuffle.com/faq ### What is Shuffle? Shuffle is the AI you open for fun. Text it in iMessage or on the web - make pictures, videos, and games about your friends, or just talk. ### How do I start? Visit Shuffle home. Choose the Messages entry point when available, or sign in to chat on the web. Quick Create is also available on the web for making content. ### Does Shuffle work through iMessage? Yes. Use the Messages entry point on Shuffle home to start a conversation using the currently available number. Availability can change; home shows the current entry point. ### Do I need to download an app? You do not need a separate Shuffle app for the web or iMessage experience. The iMessage experience uses Apple’s Messages app; shared game links open in a browser. ### How do I create and open a game? Describe the game you want in a conversation with Shuffle or use Quick Create. After generation finishes, open the returned /g/ link to play in a browser. Games need JavaScript to run. ### Who can open a shared game link? Public and unlisted games are accessible by link, subject to content restrictions. Private games require the owner to sign in. Unlisted means excluded from public discovery, not secret: anyone who has the link can open it. ### What happens to my prompt and game data? A game’s code is delivered to the browser of anyone allowed to open it. Do not put secrets or sensitive personal information in a game. Read the Privacy Policy for how Shuffle handles information. ### What if a game fails to generate or open? Check the result or error in the conversation or Quick Create. You can try again or revise the request. If a link is unavailable, it may be missing, private, or restricted; a shared link does not override those limits.
